Happy Go Lucky Mastiff Rescue

I offered to foster last year (aug 2024)for Pito, who i renamed Bruno. This rescue must have paid ppl for their good reviews because they gave me the dog to foster and never even called or ANYTHING!!! I had to get her info from the ppl who volunteer for this so called rescue. Big deal missy speaks to ppl.. thats ALL they do. This dog has several issues and still attacks my babygirl Rylie who is the sweetest n silliest, most playfull girl ANYONE WILL TELL YOU, I agreed to put him on medication and he still flips out and attacks her JUST FOR BEING NEAR THE FENCE when the neighbor comes out. I (we) have scheduled euthanasia 3 times now and here i sit at tthe vet with NO HELP OR EVEN A PHONE CALL BACK to see how my dog is doing. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS SO CALLED RESCUE TO ANYON

We adopted Pinto from Missy. Pinto was a hunting dog who was left to die after a bear attacked him. Hunters found him and took him to a vet to be treated and Pinto was then sent to a high kill shelter. Missy got him out of the kill shelter just in time. When we brought him home, he learned to be such an affectionate family dog. He brings a smile to our faces every day!

We adopted a dog from Happy Go Lucky in 2015. Missy spent a lot of time talking with me on the phone about the dog we were interested in and whether she would be a good fit for our family. She was very accommodating when we brought our current mastiff and our (human) child to visit from over 3 hours away. The process was easy, and we were matched with a wonderful dog who blended perfectly with our family. We will definitely consider adopting from them again in the future.

Missy’s love for the dogs truly shows and it was a pleasure adopting our new fur baby from her organization! She was responsive to my questions and maintained very good records. She provided a bunch of info about the personality and behaviors of our new pup that helped us feel confident in not only selecting this pup to adopt but also in using Happy Go Lucky Mastiff Rescue. All she said was accurate and allowed “Diamond” to make a very smooth transition into our home and family.
