My dogs love going here! I have boarded them here since moving to Iowa!

I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. He gets so excited when we drop him off. The kennel is impeccably clean and he loves the large outdoor run. The owner and staff are great, and do their best to meet your schedule. I never have to worry when he's there.

Whimsy is the only place we have found where our pet is dropped off happy, he's treated like their own, and he's happy when we pick him up. He shows no signs of stress and gets plenty of time outdoors. Yes, at times there maybe miscommunication about hours on holidays, but I trust that if there was ever a serious issue, Vickie would work with you fairly. I don't expect perfection, especially for the great price. The most important thing to us is that our dog is treated well and enjoys being there, not fancy shampoo, hair dye or bows :) Highly recommended!

Beware, the owner has an aggressive dog. We came in & her dog bit my dog on the nose & it left a scar. I just made another appt, asking that her dog not be there, & she canceled the appt, saying that she doesn't have aggressive dogs.

First time ever boarding our furbabies and was very unsure about it...THANKS SO MUCH TO THE GREAT LADIES @ Handsome Hounds for making the whole process ease our concerns! They had all the right answers and went every way to make it simple and less stressful! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM..and wouldn't hesitate to have then keep our furbabies again 😀 THANK YOU HANDSOME HOUNDS for our HAPPY FURBABIES AND EASING OUR STRESSES. SUPER STARS 🌟 INDEED!!!
