Finding Dr. K as a vet has been a true blessing. He has the kindest manner, and you can tell that he really cares about your pet. Even after seeing my dog only one time, he was willing to treat her on an off-hour’s emergency basis, which was such a relief to me. The whole staff goes out of their way to be accommodating, and they will not nickel and dime you to death like other vets often do. I would definitely recommend Dr. K and his staff.

This past weekend, one of our dogs was hit by a car. Thankfully, because of the road conditions, the car wasn’t going very fast — but it was still terrifying. We immediately put her in the car and called the closest vet, Hamlin Veterinary Clinic. Even though we had never been there before, they were incredibly kind and compassionate and told us to come in right away without hesitation. Even though Zuza seemed fine on the outside, we wanted to be sure everything was okay internally as well. Not only did they take X-rays to make sure everything was fine, but they also brought us to the back so we could see for ourselves and feel reassured. We are incredibly grateful for the care, compassion, and dedication this veterinary team has shown to our dogs, Duke and Jewel. From the very beginning, they treated our babies like their own — with patience, kindness, and genuine concern. Doctor K. Is an excellent veterinarian, but also a skilled dental specialist. During Jewel’s very difficult cancer diagnosis, he performed oral surgeries and removed masses from her mouth three different times to help extend her life and keep her comfortable. That level of dedication and expertise means more to us than words can express. It’s rare to find a clinic where medical expertise and real empathy come together so naturally. With 8 years in GP and emergency veterinary medicine as a technician, I am VERY particular when it comes to the clinic I use for my personal pets. Since moving here in May of 2024 Dr. K has been nothing short of amazing!! He doesn't push anything unnecessary, his prices are reasonable (too reasonable sometimes if you ask me), AND he is always available via phone on off hours to instruct you if you have an emergency. If you do have an emergency, most of the time he takes it on himself and if he can not then he will direct you to the best place to be. I have referred numerous people to him and they all say he has treated them well! I HIGHLY recommend and will not be changing practices any time soon!!
