From my first contact with HALO they were wonderful about answering questions I had. When I went in person, the same applied. Tonya was great and covered everything thoroughly and handled the dog with love and care while I was in my meet and greet. The process from potential adopter to adopter was a great experience. Thank you to everyone at HALO for doing what you do every single day.

An absolute gem of a facility! We found our perfect match, Gelato, here and we couldn't be happier. The shelter is super clean , but the real standout is the staff. They treated gelato and seems like every cat with such gentleness and respect. They were so generous with their knowledge and resources, making sure Gelato was safe, comfortable, and ready for the transition home. It’s clear they truly cherish their rescues. If you are looking for a new feline or canine family member, this is the place to go.

I got my fur baby, Chewie (Chewbacca), in July of 2021. I just wanted to take a minute and thank this rescue for all they did for him that lead him to be apart of my family. He’s the best loving boy and we are so grateful to have him apart of our lives. P.S - his former name was Mr. Ray

Recommended! This is the place to find your Forever Love! The staff at Halo are amazing. They so friendly, knowledgeable and care about every intake and every adoption. They screen for the best fit for each pet and pet parent. I have the best kitty, Prince, and he was adopted from HALO. Their website is amazing too, look at available pets and locations before you stop by. Cat or kitten, puppy or dog you are sure to have your pick of many adorable fur babies. They are all altered, chipped and have had their first round of shots. You'll be setting a great example by not buying from breeders or off Craigslist. Have you found kittens and raised them? Do you need advice about how to foster kittens? Are you ready to surrender kittens for adoption? Call and ask any questions.

Many pups and older dogs. The dogs are well cared for. The staff is very well versed in pet care and help make your transition easy when getting a furry friend. Julia was very helpful and kind.
