Haggett Hill Kennel

Heggett Kennels was wonderful with our two dogs. They were happy, well cared for, and even came home freshly bathed. Very affordable and clearly run by people who love what they do. Highly recommend!

I unfortunately had issues with the staff each time I tried to board my cat. It was only ever for a day (the two times I had boarded her) due to renovations at the studio rental I was in, but I was questioned extensively on why I would like to board my cat for a day while I was at work. It came off as rude and like I struck a nerve somehow with the tone the lady gave me. I still went ahead with the appointment as I couldn't leave my cat at home to escape. They didn't get the paperwork from the vet the first time and aggressively told me that I haven't updated the other paperwork since 2008 when I arrived to check my cat in. For one, I get that it is early in the morning but again there was a rude attitude and I had the necessary paperwork with me JUST in case. So, there was no need to come

Archie, our bearded collie, went in for a bath and trim today. Our dogs have always been treated with kindness here. But it’s one of the coldest days of the year, early December, with high temperatures only in the 20s. How stupid do you have to be to shave a long haired dog all the way down to 1/4” when it’s this cold, against explicit instructions?

I had an emergency come up and needed to have Shep taken care of for a couple of weeks. It was last minute and almost Memorial day weekend. Haggett Hill Kennel was happy to help me out of the bind. I would 100% recommend them. They also have daycare if you don't need the overnight aspect. Friendly staff, Great place.

My three cats were well taken care of in this bright, very clean facility. The "kitty condos" are roomy two-level affairs, each having it's own window to the outside world, each meticulously clean. Cats and dogs are housed in separate facilities. The owner and staff are very attentive and obviously care about their charges. I will definitely take my kitties back whenever I again need a boarding facility for them.
