Jon is not only an outstanding dog trainer but also very willing to share his expertise to improve dog owners knowledge and relationship between dog and owner. Jon provides clear direction for both dog and owner so not only is dog trained but the owner/handler understands how to best work with the dog. I would highly recommend Jon not only as a dog trainer but as a dog owner/handler trainer as well.

Jon Davis. What a guy. They man trained my crazy GSP into a freaking angel! She hunts, points, retrieves, hard heels, sits, lays, etc. all thanks to him. She went in for three months. Very high energy and crazy before, now a lot more focused and mellow now. He is very affordable and always get back to me when I have questions. Here are a few videos from the day I picked her up. Jon treats all dogs fairly and makes sure they obey. Never hurts them. Very stern and they obey him. Honestly a dog whisperer!

From friends dogs I have hunted behind to now my own, John has always done an excellent job and been an absolute pleasure to work with. Some trainers tell you what you want to hear. John has always been fair and honest and will help you decide what is best for your dog. I would recommend Gun Dog University to anyone.

Jon should wear a cloak and pointy hat because he is a WIZARD with dogs. If you're thinking about sending a dog to him for training do it!!!! You won't be disappointed. He can help you get your pup from a couch potato to a hunting machine.
