Grune Heidi Farm Rescue

Erika is very knowledgeable and knows what she has got. We were interested in a horse she posted but when she found out what we were looking for she led us to a different horse and she was not wrong. My client was looking for a kind horse that wasn't bothered by anything and we found him at Grune Heidi Farm. Specializing in American Saddlebreds and Arabians, she rescues and repurposes and find the perfect home.

I can’t say enough good things about this rescue and the incredible woman behind it. Erika pours her heart and soul into giving every horse the second chance they deserve. Her dedication is unmatched, rain or shine, she is out there making sure every animal is safe, fed, and truly cared for. The barn and stalls are kept super clean and well-organized. She doesn’t cut corners or take the easy route, she does what’s best for the horses, even when it’s hard. That kind of integrity and compassion is rare. This isn’t just a rescue, it’s a haven. Watching her work is inspiring, and anyone who brings a horse here or supports her cause should know they’re making a real difference.

As a volunteer I cannot express how much these horses are loved and cared for. Every day is a new lesson and a new wonderful memory. You won't find better cared for animals anywhere. 💜

Highly recommend this rescue especially if Arabians and Saddlebreds are your dream horse. I got my heart horse from Erika back in 2012 when she was 7. Next year she will be 20 and is healthy as a clam. We showed, did the Christmas parade, and now we’re just enjoying life. Thank you for this opportunity. Her horses are amazing.
