Griffon Pond Pet Resort

My dog stayed for one night and was supposed to get a nail trim also. I was charged more than $80 with no nail trim. Called, emailed multiple times without any response. They never sent me codes to let my dog in either! Thankfully Dillon was there when I went to pick up my dog. Now I’m told they charged for two days because I did not pick him up by 11am. That was NEVER explained to me. I will NOT go there again. So mismanaged.

This place is amazing! Awesome staff, unique setup for drop off / pick up, very clean and my dog comes home happy every time!! Highly recommend.

Updated as of summer ‘25- Took my dog to GPPR again and it was just as good! Only used GPPR once. But it was a completely pleasant experience. I have a very anxious dog and she didn’t seem to mind being there one bit. I’ll definitely bring her back next time we’re up north.

I had gone to the Mancelona area on vacation, and brought my dog Polly with me. It had only taken a few to realize how much of the stuff I wanted to do, just couldn't be done with her in tow. So, I took a day, and put her in the daycare. This place was amazing. I was shocked at how clean everything was, and how hard the owner worked at keeping everything perfect. I picked up Polly in the evening and she seemed to be both happy and worn out, as I'm certain she was doing much running and being a dog. I'd give this place a perfect rating on the Rikki Recommends scale... So if you're looking to have a bit of vacation to yourself, or you just need a break from Fido... Check this place out.

Julie & Megan were absolutely amazing. We took a trip out west for 2 weeks and boarded our 2 dogs for the first time ever. Naturally, we were anxious to leave them for so long, but Julie was incredibly communicative and accommodating. Our boys were safe and happy and well taken care of, I could not have asked for a better home away from home for our fur children. HIGHLY recommend Meadow Pond....they are fantastic!
