Extremely rude staff. It’s like they were happy my two year old couldn’t see dogs due to her age. They then said they didn’t have my application. Absolutely no help and was told they probably won’t get back to me for over a week. It’s so weird how they kind of treat you like you are bothering them. My daughter wasn’t happy , we ended up going to buy a puppy at a pet store. I always like to adopt , but man in this area every rescue treats you like a criminal. I own my home, have a huge yard and a loving family who would have taken any of those dogs. We even were open to getting a pit because we know they have a hard time getting adopted. We ended up buying a little jack russel puppy so I guess everything happens for a reason. But again , the staff here was rude. Also they let some kid in
Wonderful location. I made kennel quilts from my fabric scraps. Drop off is easy. Lots of parking. The office responded promptly on email that they accept and appreciated the idea of pet bedding from donated fabric.
Jennifer Elizabeth Feeling Defeated Pls feel free to share Last Friday, i called a trainer for advice and her untrue statements led to issues with Griffin Pond, and they asked me to bring back my 9-week-old pit bull foster pup. The following day at Griffin Pond ; ( I brought a witness - Holly diana) I plead with them to keep Winston, offering to adopt him on the spot, i offered training and they refused. I was told to worry about my senior dog (Rudy) which I always do!!! I left crying with a broken heart ( I gave them all of his toys and a blanket, I was told I could call to check on him- So , I called Sunday and dealt with rude staff , i called Monday and left a message, Tuesday, spoke to rude staff that said she was busy and she would call me back -never did !!! So on Wednesda
A well run, compassionate, and clean shelter where we found these two beautiful siblings rescued from a hoarding situation. They are happy, social, healthy, and devoted to each other. They have perfectly filled a void in our family and we are forever grateful to Griffin Pond! Looking forward to many happy years ahead!
