Greenside Canine Training

I sent my dog Oliver to Greenside Canine for their 6-week board and train, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff were so patient with him and great to work with as an owner. Every weekend when he came home, he was happy, confident, and excited to return on Mondays—which said a lot about how much he enjoyed being there! Before training, Oliver was a recently adopted stray who struggled with reactivity, resource guarding, and separation anxiety. His behavior now is night and day. He listens to commands, stays calm in situations that used to stress him out, and keeps improving as we continue his training at home. I will never be able to say thank you enough to the trainers at Greenside! I have a (almost) 2 year old cattle dog and he had some pretty major aggression issues as well as being very reactive with strangers and other dogs specifically. We saw another trainer before and essentially told me he was hopeless. A few months after that Clay was recommended to me so I reached out and we set up an evaluation and he felt like he could help Milo and I. If you have a dog in need of high-quality training, we highly recommend Greenside Canine! Jax and Ram are our two 4-year-old Belgian Malinois that we got as 8-week-old puppies in 2020. They share the same birthdate but are from two different breeders. We sent both dogs to several training and socialization classes elsewhere during their first year of life and for the most part, they did fine with other dogs and people at these classes. I say for the most part because they had a tendency to “herd” the other puppies around in the classes, on occasion barking and nipping at the other dogs. But all were puppies so this playing was somewhat expected, and a Belgian Malinois is a herding dog by nature. We are a first time dog owners and we were struggling with our very sweet golden doodle. Clay and his team had her for 4 weeks and were very successful in training her, as well as us and helped reset the relationship with our dog.
