Our experience with Chris was fantastic. He demonstrated a great deal of professional knowledge and was 100% responsive to us as dog owners. Chris clearly has a lot of affection for the dogs he gets to work with, and I genuinely appreciate how honest he was with us throughout the training process. Our dog made noticeable progress within the first two sessions. Well worth the investment, just be ready to do the work. - Indigo says thanks!

Chris is the most caring and compassionate trainer. From the evaluation of my dog straight through the advanced obedience stage he was always willing to help and available. He took my dogs best interest and my expectations in mind. At this point I feel that he is responsible for the wonderful dog that I have. We are able to go in public and I am proud to walk her around. When people ask who trained her I say, "Chris at Green Mountain K9." We have gone from trainer and student to friends and for that I am thankful. Diana and Wednesday say if you want a great, and well trained dog head to Green Mountain K9.

Meet Kaya, our 7 year old German Shepard rescue. Kaya was not in good shape when she came to us. Integrating her into our family was not easy at first. Kaya was very lovable with people but extremely reactive towards other dog/animals. She hated/pulled on a leash and did not understand basic commands like sit or stay. This raised some serious concerns given our lifestyle and proximity to new dogs. We reached out to Green Mountain K9 because we wanted to keep her, ourselves, and frankly other animals safe from her reactivity. If you’re reading this far into my review, let me make it easy for you. Call Green Mountain K9 and set up a consultation. Leave your candy ass dog training mentality at home. Expect to learn something new each session AND DO YOUR ASSIGNED HOMEWORK. Repetition is key.

We recently finished an eight week course with Chris at Green Mountain K9 and we highly recommend him. Our German Shepherd Max was a handful at 10 months old and after our first lesson we noticed a big change. Chris was very straight forward with his training technique and we feel it was money and time well spent. We can now enjoy walks with Max on and off leash as we have learned how to correctly use the E collar. This was the first time using a trainer for our German Shepherds that we have owned and I would not hesitate to use him again.

I decided to go to Green Mountain K9 for my 2 German Shepherds. I was having a difficult time taking them in public. My dogs were very reactive to other dogs and would be come unmanageable to the point that I had to pick them up and carry them out of the store. I took them to a local training group that was known to specialize in German Shepherds and I was told by the head trainer that there was no way this was going to end well and my dogs should be separated. I went to Green Mountain and the owner, Chris, had them responding perfectly on leash in one session. He them took the time to train me to do the same. We continued with training and now both dogs can walk in public on or off leash, one competes in a frisbee competition and people tell me all the time how well behaved they are. It w
