Greater New Haven Cat Project

We adopted our beautiful boy Maurice (aka Connor) from the GNHCP over three years ago and we couldn't be happier. He has brought so much joy to our lives! Thank you GNHCP for all you do both in finding homes for cats and working with the feral cats in New Haven. You really care and do so much for both cats and for uniting them with people bringing us all so much happiness and joy.

I worked with Cheryl at the Greater New Haven Cat Project to get my rescued cat spayed and she made it extremely manageable over a course of 3-4 weeks. I was very nervous about this process because my cat is very anxious and does not let anyone near her. We came up with a plan to use the TNR method in my home. Training her to walk into the trap took about 10 days and it worked! We were able to get her spayed the next day, along with all her shots and medication. It's now been about a week since the surgery, and she's doing great! She's playing, happy, and much more relaxed. This is a huge relief and I am so glad everything worked out. The price was reasonable, and Cheryl was knowledgeable and reassuring, working around my busy work schedule, which I really appreciated. She also checked in

I called them and i was able to assist in trapping ferals, they go on to release or adopt them out after spaying/treating them. They provided me with food and I just think they are very compassionate and adore these animals. Very nice people!

Nothing short of a professional, seamless experience with Cheryl. She was very attentive to me in reminding me of the upcoming appointment, providing paperwork and answering any questions I had post surgery. Cheryl waited after hours because I was running late as well. This place cares and shows great compassion to your pets and I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. Even the pricing was extremely, extremely reasonable. Thank you Cheryl and the Greater New Haven Cat Project! You guys are amazing and your actions reflect that.

Omg, they saved my kitty, thought I was gonna have to get rid of her but they helped me get her fixed and shots and all, now she is happy and I was still able to pay rent and my kitty, so thankful!!
