We were honestly so excited when High Plains Vet opened in Vaughn. As soon as we found out Dr. Johnson was starting her own practice, we knew we wanted to follow her and we haven’t regretted it for a second. Dr. Johnson is just one of those vets you instantly trust. She’s warm, attentive, and you can truly see how much she loves the animals and her job. She takes her time, listens, and makes you feel like your pet genuinely matters, because to her, they do. The whole staff has been amazing as well; friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Their pricing is very reasonable too, which just makes everything even better. It’s absolutely worth the drive to Vaughn for the level of care you get. We’re so thankful for High Plains Vet — our pets are in the best hands. 🐾🤍

We absolutely love Great Plains Vet Clinic, and especially Jessica Johnson! She’s been incredible with our cats — Graycee, Alfie, and Honey — treating each of them with so much kindness, patience, and genuine care. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it shows in how comfortable and happy our pets are around her. The whole team is always friendly, gentle, and professional. AMAZING! Staff were kind, helpful, and clearly love animals. Feels good when they love on your pet. Clinic was clean. Service was above and beyond. Transparent pricing with no surprises. Our pup loved her visit and receiving extra cuddles. Would highly recommend.

Yesterday I was referred by my current Vet Clinic because they could not get my Chihuahua in soon enough. When I explained the state of my pup, they got her in right away. Every person we interacted with was pleasant and caring. They ran tests to confirm diagnosis, and throughly went over her at home treatment plan. I left knowing they are only a phone call away if any questions or further concerns arise. The ENTIRE staff was wonderful. Thank you "Great Plains" for helping my Furbaby, she is already showing great improvement.

My dog Rhoda is 16+ years old and fell off the bed and couldn't walk on her rear left leg   I called my regular Vet that I have done business with for 20+ years and was advised that I couldn't get an appointment until the following month.   The blessing of this is they suggested I call Great Plains to see if they could see her sooner.  I had an appointment within 24 hours.  The business is clean and bright.   The employees, front desk, tech and Dr Johnson are even brighter.   So pleasant, caring, understanding who could ask for more.  Dr Johnson got on the floor with my pup and was so gentle and thorough.  When we were done with the appointment, it got even brighter   The bill with three prescriptions was less expensive than an office appointment with my previous Vet.   I have a new Vet.
