Granite Bay Kennels

I absolutely love the people—every single one of them—who take care of my dog. More important is that my dog loves going there. Whenever I turn down Sierra Ponds my pup begins to shriek with delight. When we arrive I almost have to restrain him from wanting out of our car and head to the back when he goes inside. The staff truly are a delight to deal with and they treat him like a rock star. On the few times I have to travel out of town it gives me supreme confidence knowing that he is being loved and well taken care of. My dog has been fortunate to go there for well over a year now. I wish I had written this sooner to bless them because they have blessed me and my dog. I cannot imagine taking him anywhere else. He is part of the family there.

I was flying out to work a horse show for 2 weeks and looked at many dog kennels to watch my 9 year old dog. Most would have cost me more money to have my dog in a cage for 2 weeks than I pay for my horse to be boarded for 3 months. On top of it all, my dog has separation anxiety from being a pound puppy. So, finding a place that didn't just have her in a cage all the time was a must. Not only was this place affordable, but they had the option for my dog to be taken out on nature walks. Since my dog is used to being loose at all the barns I work at, this was perfect for her. When I picked her up, she was happy in great shape and even groomed. She looked like she was a puppy again. I left a first time boarder at Granite Bay for 10 days. I was worried my 3 yo German Shorthaired Pointer would not do well and stress out and lose weight. I was pleasantly surprised he was happy and in great condition when I picked him up! In perfect weight, clean and content. I would recommend this Boarding Kennel 100% and the staff are wonderful.

Such an idyllic place for dogs to have their own vacation. Spacious and clean. Friendly and professional staff who really care and put an abundance of time into each pup. My dog loves coming here!

Granite Bay Kennels is the only place I will take my dogs!! My favorite part is that the dogs are able to play outside for most of the day instead of sitting inside. The workers have been there for years, so it's always great to see the same faces. I love this place and all the employees!
