I have never seen a place so amazing 😍 as this one. I never imagined what goes behind the seems of running and taking care of animals from all walks of life as this place. I put a bad review that I feel really embarrassed that I ever wrote . I would love to tell everyone why ! After being patient the vet clinic got in touch with me and was able to work me within a reasonable time. My fur baby which is a cat , is a true brat. After explaining to me that instead of making her uncomfortable with hating anyone but me touching her , we arranged for her to come back within again a reasonable amount of time so, she could be sedated during her visit and get herself care that she needed. Ms. Jess and Elisa her vet nurse kept me in the loop and I new then Marlow was in wonderful hands. My point is t

After wait for a while to hear if my application was accepted everything went smoothly. Adopted a senior Cat and I couldn't be happier. It took a few weeks for her to feel at home, but, now she is the Queen of her castle. As a senior myself she is the highlight of my day and she gives me so much joy and peace. If you are looking for a senior companion please go and adopt a senior. You can both age graciously together.

This sweet little boy in the attached photo, who once i had no idea existed, who i know refer to as.. another member of the family nothing more, nothing less. My experience with Grand Strand Humane Society when I adopted recently was wonderful. This was my first time adopting from a shelter, and it couldn’t have gone better. I’ve had many many pets throughout my life till now, from paying $20 for a puppy i picked out of a cardboard box, in the middle of god knows where… to spending way too much on a breeder dog (yes, with papers.. cue the judgmental side-eye at my own self, i know. 🤨😒). But GSHS made everything different, in the best way. The staff were kind, compassionate, & deeply dedicated to every animal’s wellbeing. They’re not just finding homes, they’re making sure each & every a

Every time I ask for Vet services and hours they keep changing hours and days. last week I ask for service and they told me to come back today the 30th just to get couple of vaccines for my kitty, mind you I been back and forth with him. Today when I arrived they told me they don’t have any vaccines I literally came minutes before they opened because I never get an appointment. They just told me to do a walk in. This place needs more organización. They keep playing with people’s time. They keep promising this services which are not free and asking a bunch of donations. The lady who spoke to me just seems like she don’t care about my kitty and don’t want to get him a service. I feel so bad for all the kitties inside this place, they have zero organization that’s why this place is always emp

Brittany and the entire team was/is amazing! Adopted two medium+ dogs as they are a bonded pair. This team is doing amazing things with what they have to work with. I will donate regularly. She's offered the dog yards on Joe White as a transitional off-leash run until we know if the two are safe to play with other dogs! She fully admits bad reviews on all sites. She tells people no! She truly has the animals interest at the forefront! Keep saying no!!!! Trust your instincts! Thank you Brittany and the entire team on Joe White!!!!
