Granby Dog Park

I have 3 fur babies and they love it here. Sun fun, some provided toys, a watering hole, obstacle course and friends to make. It's It's great place to be a dog. For those who need a seat. There are bench and a small shelter to stay out of the sun. Poop bags are provided just respect the space and clean up.

Looked like a really nice park but there was nothing to inform me it was closed and locked up on 2/6/2026

The fencing around these two parks is dangerously ineffective at keeping the large and small dogs apart. That combined with the large number of people with dangerous dogs that shouldn't have them, makes this place a horrible dog park. Large dogs get into the small dog park by the pond where the fence ends and the little dogs can get through the gates which are not hung properly. Several areas allow smaller dogs to slip under the fencing, pounds of dog waste left by the large dog owners, and you'll be lucky to make it out of the Mad max-style parking lot and trail system with the speeding ATVs, electric dirtbikes and trucks doing donuts flinging rocks and gravel in every direction, makes this a classic grand county experience. Park was closed for the winter it seems. No signage or online notifications. Park seemed nice, just wish there had been a heads up.

Visiting from Omaha and this park puts our local dog parks to shame. Our boy (pictured on the right) immediately made a friend and had a blast chasing the other dogs (and being chased!). The agility course and pond are really nice. We had so much fun we had to go back. And Otis made another new bff!
