Gracious Kennel is an excellent place to board your pet while you are away. The dogs have plenty of room to run and play and at night they are secured in a large safe enclosure with a doggie door if they choose to go out during the daylight hours. They feed a good dog food, unless you bring your own, and access to fresh water that is changed daily. I have boarded my Golden and Bernese MT dog several times and recommend them highly. The owners are friendly and treat boarding dogs as they do their own pets. Their passion and love for animals truly shows in the quality of their own pets in and out of the show ring. Give them a call the next time you need to board your dog.

Everything else was booked so we brought our 2 dogs here over the Holidays. What a mistake! They took full payment upfront, in cash, which we shouldn't have done. They did not let our dogs outside of the kennel at all the entire time. We were told they would be let out daily. I talked with both owners and son, who all confirmed that they stay in the same kennel the ENTIRE time over Christmas. Two dogs, one shared kennel, not let out AT ALL for exercise or to play as we were told they would do numerous times a day. It was an open outdoor kennel and we were concerned that there was no heat but they assured us they kept them warm with space heaters...yet when we picked them up it was dark, damp and no evidence of attempts to keep any of the animals warm. We took our Lasha Apso to Gracious Kennel for a haircut/spa I was totally shocked when I picked up our dog. I have never ever seen a haircut this bad. it was so bad we had to take her to another groomer that could also not believe someone would do this bad of a job on any dog. My dog is now shaved down to the skin. WOW I can not believe these people call themselves groomers. There are no "real " dog groomers at that place!!!!!

Gracious Kennels will give you peace of mind with their boarding service. The dogs are safe, loved, well fed, and entertained while they are there. I've used them for years and am very happy with them.

I've been very happy with Gracious Kennels. The people are very pleasant and conscientious. My dog has actual learned to like visiting. Very unusual for her to take to a kennel. I only take her there now.
