AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Do not let them get their hands on your pets!!! My Mother had a stroke and had end stage Parkinson’s Disease. I became her 24/7 caregiver and had to make the agonizing decision to re-home Mother’s dog and took her to Gracie’s. The horrible volunteer there the day I took Mother’s dog simply turned over to the back side of a piece of paper and had me write that I surrendered Mother’s dog. In less than twelve hours of surrendering Mother’s dog I contacted Gracie’s to get her back. The same horrible volunteer refused to give her back because she had already promised her to someone else. The same home she promised her to when Mother’s dog ran away and right before we got her back. I contacted Loretta who stated she stood behind her bully volunteer and would not return Mot

I have never got a dog from them. Bit there was one I was playing with a Rottweiler named Bammie I love that dog. It broke my her to see that she got adopted but it also makes me really happy that she did get adopted. She spent 147 days in there. My pet . My best friend . Got taken away from me . Animal.welfare mngt . Did not do their job correct. My dog Karma Trucha Garcia is pet bull with 2 black eyes like the one in the first picture. She has a chip. Spayed neutered. They lied saying she had to be uthanized and didn't let me hold her. She did Not bite during quarantine. Didn't read paper when I signed it due to being distraught . Crying . Read it later on.it sayed . She was being transferred with an ASO # . . Please help me get my dog back I miss her so much!!! 😭 3E Buena Vista apt

We have adopted a dog actually 2 from Gracie's project and have also started helping them foster !! They are doing amazing things and helping keep these poor fur baby’s off the streets and out of the pounds . HELP them out when and where you can they are non profit and rely strictly on donations to run the business .

Tried to adopt a dog from them, never got a call back, tried recently to give them a beautiful Husky that someone dumped in our neighborhood, again, no answer. I find the paperwork to adopt a dog over the top even though I get what they are trying to do and support their mission. I just think they are either understaffed or one person is trying to do it all. I hope they get some help soon.
