Julie was the key to our family successfully introducing our newborn baby to our reactive and excitable, 8 year-old coonhound, Bowie. She was responsive to all my emails and she made me feel more than comfortable leaving Bowie in her care for the 2 week board and train. Bowie has been doing great using the same training methods she taught us a year and half later. We are forever grateful for Julie and the work she did with us!

If I could give more stars, I would. Julie did an amazing job with my crazy husky shepherd mix, Kiba. Before Good Decisions training Kiba broke out of his kennel, was reactive towards other dogs, and even broke a window trying to get to another dog. Today, Kiba is happier than ever and I am able to take him out in public without worrying about causing a scene AND I consistently get complimented on how well behaved my dog is. Any time I have had questions or concerns Julie has been available for guidance and advice. Julie understands and cares about dogs more than anyone I have ever met and it shows in her work. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. My boston terrier had very significant separation anxiety which caused a number of issues. I looked into some trainers and what sold me on Good Decisions was the daily videos which not only allowed me to see my dog's progress while he was away, but also see Julie's passion for what she does One if the best decisions I've ever made. After 2 weeks, my Boston was a changed dog. He listens better, relaxes more and behaves properly. I continued his training where Julie left off, but with her instructions and advice, it's been a smooth transition. I HIGHLY recommend her for any dog training needs!

I did a lot of research before I chose Julie and Good Decisions Dog Training to help me with my recently adopted 3-year-old Great Pyrenees. I’m so glad I trusted my instinct and chose Julie’s Board and Train program over others in the area. Julie genuinely cared about my dog. She tailored her training program around my dog’s timidity and anxiety and built the trust necessary for my dog to succeed. It was hard to be away from my dog for an extended period of time but Julie shared progress videos and photos and remained communicative throughout the entire process.
