The standards here are exceptional, and you can immediately sense how genuinely caring the staff are the moment you walk in! My two boys have complete different personalities, and the extra-large cat condos give them plenty of room to climb, lounge, and enjoy their own space comfortably. The secure outdoor patios are such a wonderful bonus for fresh air and sunshine! The entire resort is spotless, peaceful, and professionally managed. I feel totally confident leaving my pets here. Highly recommend to all pet parents!

No need to worry about your pets when you bring them to Golden Wood Oxford! Bethany, Nyaja, Jenna, and Naomi do an amazing job of caring for your pets while you are away and are always quick to respond to you for anything! There are many add-on services you can choose to make your pet's stay even better, and you receive a report card with a picture of your pet for the play services! They also have treats you can add on for your pets whenever you want! They also have amazing options for cats with a fenced-in outside patio! They offer some grooming services too, so your pet will come home clean, and daycare if you want your pet to socialize. It is such a clean resort, and your pets will leave happy and want to come back!

Bethany & all of the team I have met are caring and professional. We boarded our 16 year old cats here over the 2025 Christmas holiday and they came back happy and healthy. One of our guys needs medication and they administered it to him. I was nervous about boarding them since it has been a couple years and they are seniors but they returned home happy and at the same weights as when we left. They were in great suites which allowed them a view of nature. So grateful for Golden Wood & their compassionate animal loving staff. We were provided updates which set our minds at ease that our boys were being well taken care of and provided affection and cuddles. We will definitely bring the boys to board again in the future.

The standards are very high at Golden Wood and they go out of their way to make sure pets are well cared for, safe, and comfortable. We always get a little nervous when boarding our 2 small dogs, but were especially apprehensive since this was our first time trying Golden Wood, but the team texted an update with photos after the first day which put our minds at ease. We loved the option to book a larger room for both dogs to board together. When we picked them up after their stay, they were clean, happy, calm, and tired which is always a good thing. The setting, accommodations, options, and most of all the staff are all amazing. Thank you Golden Wood for taking such excellent care of our dogs.
