Golden Wood, Fairplay

The ladies at Golden Wood are amazing. My dog Adanna was very busy enjoying the other dogs and staff. Maddie even sent me a photo of her running around. I highly recommend Golden Wood.

Golden Wood Fairplay is an excellent place to take your pets! All of the staff takes great pride in their work and they adore all the pets they care for! They maintain high standards for cleanliness and have fun while doing it too! If you want reliable service that will go the extra mile for you and your pet, bring them here! They do daycare now as well and love helping your dog become more socialized!

Would recommend boarding your pets here! I had many anxious thought as a first time dog owner when it came to boarding our boy Bear but after dropping him off and talking with the staff I knew instantly he'd be taken care of. I added on some pictures to our stay for an extra fee and the photos taken were great! Funny enough his recall got better after his stay so a gift for us if it was unintentional :)

I would highly recommend Golden Wood for group play and boarding! Our dog can be anxious around a large group of dogs but loves to run and play in small groups. The staff communicated how they would introduce her to the group for play and then did a great job of letting me know how she was doing. From the photos sent, I could tell our dog was happy, well cared for, and enjoyed her time at Golden Wood. Thank you so much to the awesome staff!

My dog came here when it was Widow’s Mite, and now he’s almost 13 years old. It’s been awhile since we’ve had to board him and I was really nervous due to his age and health complications. Golden Wood made us feel like our dog would be in good hands. As the week went on we received photos and little report cards of how he was doing. When he ran into a little health issue, they called me right away, helped treat the problem, and updated me daily until we got home. Thank you Golden Wood for keeping the old widow’s mite integrity!
