Michelle, the lead volunteer and the front desk staff are amazing. This is my first time fostering and I must say the vet tech/doctor and the staff have been very helpful with any questions and concerns I may have. Very clear directions on how to assist this beauty to health.

Visited facility to donate some dog food & found the facility to be awesome. Located remotely along some other government facilities & convenient. If you have left over dog or cat food, they love to see you & the food.

I had to take a feral cat in to be put to sleep. I've been taking care of her for years, even had her spayed. Well, she must have gotten hit and had no use of her backend. So when she used the bathroom, she couldn't clean herself, so flies were on her and laid maggots. I called my vet, Dr. Tucker office, and they said it would be 250.00 to put her to sleep. So I called this place and spoke to Sharon, and she said to bring her in. They took her in, they gave her a sedative, and put her to sleep. Sharon was very good, thank you.

We adopted a kitten from them and not only was he extremely sick, having diarrhea, throwing up, not eating, but they somehow forgot to mention this? After a $500 vet visit they then decided to tell me he had an upper respiratory cold, vet said it was parvo. This was within the first 2 weeks of us having him and they offered no reimbursement. if you are looking for kittens i would recommend going somewhere else if you aren’t trying to break your bank account. luckily we got our sweet guy healthy and thriving now. (the pics are the day we got him vs now)

Adopted 2 kittens through petsmart from this shelter. These kittens were ridden with disease, ringworm, and severe respiratory infection. I was told the upper respiratory was due to petsmarts poor ventilation by the woman i adopted them from and that it would go away on its own. This was not the case according to my vet. They were very sick kittens and should have NEVER BEEN adopted out in these conditions. After going through the proper channels I was basically informed they were my problem now. Albeit, I do not regret my decision to adopt them, however, I do caution ANYONE to do thorough examination on any agency that promotes ready to adopt pets when they are not. The total cost is approaching $1,000 for the kittens and growing!. Buyer/adopter BEWARE!
