I unfortunately had to visit today for a euthanasia appointment for my ferret Benny. As heartbreaking as this whole experience was, the entire staff from the doctors to the vet techs to the receptionists at the front desk were as kind and gentle as they could possibly be. The doctor explained everything in detail about what our boy was experiencing and how the process would go. The sedation allowed us to hold him one last time and say our goodbyes. We opted to bring his remains home with us so we could bury them and they carefully wrapped him up in his blankie after creating our memorial piece. Euthanasia is such a tough appointment for everyone involved, but we deeply appreciated the level of care and sensitivity we received. Thank you so much for making Benny’s last moments soft, caring

I brought my rabbit in last week for our first visit here. I was initially very nervous, and actually almost canceled because I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with vets, and was nervous my rabbit wouldn’t be taken care of. When I got there, I was greeted by two very sweet girls at the front desk, and they helped me fill out the new client paperwork. They were both very nice and funny. Then, the vet tech came out and took us to a room. She was also super nice, she even said that they don’t take rabbits out of their carriers until it’s time to examine them, so that they don’t get stressed out anymore than they have to! My wife and I love Glenway Animal Hospital and the vets/staff who provide care. Everyone is always friendly and professional. Things are explained in a way I can understand without feeling talked down to. The staff and vets are all very patient and listen well. I feel like reasonable options are presented when the cats are having a health issue so we can decide together how to proceed. I’m super confident in the care our cats receive from Glenway Animal Hospital. 100% recommend.
