Glensted Pet Clinic

Needed a vet for my three month old pup and I've found the greatest!! Every encounter was friendly and compassionate from the representative scheduling appointments to the doctor himself. . He was kind, knowledgeable, comforting but direct. My pup has a break right above her ankle and the doctor made a scary and costly situation bearable and offered alternate solutions and gave us reassurance for healing. There are actually two other facilities under the same management/ownership and I love being able to have options - if one location can't get you in, the other can. I look forward to many years of my pet receiving extraordinary care from this team!

Ashley is AMAZING. My dog hates getting his nails clipped so he can be hard to deal with (to put it lightly). She was so patient with him and us, and got it done. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Glensted Animal Hospital, Dr. John Shudell has taken the best care of our three little dogs since he started working there. He has been very insightful, knowledgeable and caring. One of our little dogs developed encephalitis and a seizure disorder, which was very complicated and medically complex. Dr. Shudell has saved her life more than once. Another one of our little adopted dogs has chronic pancreatitis that Dr. Shudell has been able to help manage. He is an excellent diagnostician. Dr. Shudell takes the time necessary to answer all of our questions and concerns. All of the staff have been wonderful, they make you feel like your pets are safe, and are going to be very well taken care of. I appreciate and highly recommend Glensted.

Staff communication is very poor. The vet in person was nice but the staff does not get back to owners regarding crucial matters. I brought my cat here a few times and i wished i had a better time but scheduling appointments was very hard and call backs were promised but not delivered. Unfortunate experience. Would not recommend unfortunately

This place is the gold standard for vet care. They did everything they could do for our sweet girl in the three years we’ve lived in Homewood. The doctor and assistants all remember my name, her name, and would call just to check in on her. I’m heartbroken we won’t need any vet visits since she passed yesterday but they gave her the dignity and affection she deserved.
