The whole staff at the Glen Oaks location is incredibly kind and caring, which means the world to me because my dog gets very anxious at the vet. Every person we’ve interacted with has been patient, gentle, and genuinely compassionate. He recently had his dental checkup, and I knew he was in the best hands with Dr. Zhang and her amazing team! They kept him calm, kept me informed, and made the entire experience surprisingly stress-free. We’re so grateful for their dedication and the love they show our pup every single visit! 💛🐾

I’m writing this review to share my experience with Glen Oaks Veterinary Group, specifically with Dr. Zhang and Dr. Andino, so other pet owners know what to expect. When my puppy Queenie had Giardia, it took multiple visits before she was finally given metronidazole, which is the medication that actually properly treats Giardia. Instead, I was charged for several stool sample tests at about $100 each before the correct medication was prescribed. For one of the rounds of treatment, they gave only probiotics to “fix the problem.” These probiotics could be purchased on Amazon for a fraction of the cost, but were marked up by about three times in the office. I’ve been coming to this location for about a year now, amazing service and the sweetest staff I’ve come across. Props to Dr. Andino for being so kind and patient with my little one. This year, I recommend my mom to bring her cat here as well for check ups and care. Recently she just booked a neutering appointment for her cat and needed him to have bloodwork required for the neuter but for some reason, the balance of the bloodwork is not applied to the neuter. I spoke to one of the nurses (won’t say their name just because they’re genuinely sweet and I give people grace) and she told me that this policy changed a year ago.. my cat was neutered this year in March and his bloodwork was apart of the neuter costs. My dogs have been seeing Dr. Julie Andino for over 17 years. We followed her from another vet’s office. Besides being an excellent veterinarian, she is very caring and loves the pets she cares for. She recently saw us through a tough time when we had to make the terrible decision to put our dogs down due to old age and illness. She was supportive and compassionate throughout this difficult time for our family. She cried with us. I am happy to say that we are back with our new dog, Mabel. The staff at VCG-Glen Oaks is kind and friendly. The office is always immaculate. All calls are responded to quickly. I highly recommend VCG-Glen Oaks.
