My dog and I are technically "new" patients here, but this is actually a homecoming for us. Dr. Jennifer Kim was our first vet years ago, and after exploring several other clinics closer to home, I finally realized that the quality of care she provides is irreplaceable. I am so relieved to be back. It is rare to find a vet you truly trust, but Dr. Kim is the real deal. She is incredibly knowledgeable and actually listens. She takes the time to hear your concerns and gives honest, pragmatic feedback rather than rushing you through a session just to hand over a hefty estimate. She focuses on what’s actually best for the animal’s health without the "hard sell" you often find elsewhere. My dog absolutely loves her, which is why I’ve officially become "that person" who drives 40 minutes one way

When my senior dog needed a major dental procedure, Dr. G. called me multiple times to update me during the surgery. She let me know how my dog was doing, what she needed to do on each side of his mouth, and even sent pictures of each side of his mouth before she started. Additionally, the office staff made sure I had aftercare instructions and asked if I had questions prior to bringing Winston out to take home. The entire experience was excellent! My dog was treated extremely well and I was included on the progress throughout the procedure. Winston was given excellent care before, during, and after his major dental surgery. I was treated with respect and care as well!

I’ve been following Dr. Kim since her previous practice, and I recently brought my fur baby in for a dental cleaning. I was initially very nervous about putting my dog under anesthesia, but Dr. Kim took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process and answer all of my questions. She made me feel completely comfortable moving forward with the recommended procedure. I’m so glad we decided to proceed—my pup came home with bright, sparkling white teeth! The technician (I believe her name was Cat) did a fantastic job as well. I was also relieved that the dental X-rays didn’t show anything concerning this time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I truly appreciate the care and attention they gave my fur baby.

My dog was really sick and we were able to schedule an appointment online (it was late at night). Dr. Cooks was lovely and so kind. Every vet tech we spoke with was kind and helpful. We even had to bring her back a few hours later because she needed some help with her pain and they took us in right away. We called several times throughout the next few days and they were more than willing to answer our questions. Definitely making here our long term vet! P.S. here’s a cute photo of our girly <3

We've been taking our 2 cats and 1 dog to Germantown for 5 years. They're amazing and easily the best veterinary clinic we've ever been to. We've recommended them to numerous friends, and will continue to do so every chance we get. Their vets and staff are knowledgeable and empathetic, they routinely make time for us whenever we've had an emergency, and their rates are absolutely reasonable. Today we went through the process of putting our 17 year old dachshund to sleep. While in no way was that an experience I want to ever repeat, I cannot describe how wonderful everyone at Germantown was.
