Dr. Desirae Self is an extraordinary vet. She is kind, honest and compassionate. I have been taking my fur babies to GVC for years. She has always gone above and beyond with her care for them. I'm thankful to her and the entire team for their understanding and kindness during the passing of my childhood dog. I would not have trusted or felt comfortable with any other vets in the area during such a hard time. We have recently moved into the area and our beloved black lab, Bella, passed away suddenly. The people at Gentry Vet Clinic were so kind and compassionate, they did a professional job and made us feel very cared for during a hard time. Since then we have had one cat in for all of his shots and to get neutered. They explained all of the different options for the procedure and gave me the price upfront. The same day that he had surgery he was running around and feeling great. Lastly, we had to take our other cat in for an ingrown claw. She is not typically a warm and fuzzy cat, so I was very anxious about how this was going to go. The vet and her tech were so gentle that they were able to put my kitty at ease, get her nail clipped and cleaned out, and dipped to sanitize it, although witho

Dr. Self deserves so much credit! She is selfless, compassionate, and really cares for these animals. Lost my baby boy on the 25th of July, and she made it has easy as it could be and she handled it so gracefully on her Birthday too..

Dr Self is the best vet I have worked with for any of my pets. She is so caring, thorough and knowledgeable. My dog would not be alive today without the care of service she has given him when another clinic wrote him off. I would highly recommend her to anyone for care of your animals.
