We can’t be more thrilled with the progress that our pups have made with Gen1k9. We have a husky that loved to escape and run around for hours. He is now able to walk off leash and stay by our side without running off! Our new puppy also has been transformed with obedience and leash training. He no longer pulls and I don’t get the leashes tangled when I walk them together. They just walk nicely by my side. I can’t thank Lorena, Denise and Shelby enough for their hard work and their dedication to teaching me so I can continue to be successful in training my pups. I just wish I had found them sooner.

The best training! Lorena not only trained our exuberant golden retriever, but more importantly she trained us to be calm and consistent in working with him. Working with Lorena has completely changed the dynamic in our family! Our dog is the “good boy” we always knew he could be. We highly recommend Lorena’s daily board and train service to train both dogs and their people.

Enrolling our 5-month-old Mini Australian Shepherd in the two-week training program at Gen1 K9 was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. While I’ve always known shepherds to be intelligent, I never could have achieved this level of training on my own. Lorena’s expertise and passion for both dogs and their owners truly set her apart. I feel like I’ve learned just as much as our dog, Baker! She even helped us resolve his car sickness, which was an unexpected but much appreciated bonus. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Gen1 K9, and I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for top-notch training.

Our little cowboy corgi Sasha is a great dog but we wanted to give her all the tools to be a happy, safe, and successful part of our family. Lorena helped correct some potential problem behaviors, dial in some of her breed specific ones as well, and helped us get some tools and insight into how to move Sasha in the direction of being a happy, obedient, and calm dog. Her “chill” is greatly increased, and she doesn’t exhibit as much anxiety as she had before. Highly recommend Lorena as a trainer!

There are not enough words for how thankful we we are to Denise and Lorena!! They completely changed our views on training for the better! Our sweet Toby is still very much a puppy, but the changes we’ve seen in him are incredible! And knowing we have their support forever is just amazing! Highly recommend their board and train program! Denise was so good to our sweet boy, and kept us updated the whole way through! They went above and beyond for us, especially when we all got the flu, and we’ll be forever grateful!!
