Gallatin County Animal Shelter

I really feel like dogs rot in that place they should have to take them to animal fairs and have sales for the adoption fees like cincinnati and other places have so these animals have opportunities to b adopted n have forever homes,its sickening to me they only open a few days n times weekly,and the fees for these animals are sky high,it's just sad to see on a regular basis this place filling up but not adopting out,look at the web page tilly has been there for a couple yrs WHY, I JUST FEEL LIKE THEY NEED TO B DOING MORE these animals lives matter to..Bracken county animal fees are only 40$ n they're just as small as gallaton county,so let's get these animals help they truly deserve,knock down prices make money not important and let's get these animals forever homes

The employee was very nice and very knowledgeable. The place is pretty much ran down. The fenced in area is small. And the do it yourself repairman has been very busy. There were several sections where the fence needed repaid and they used pieces of dog cages. The building is falling apart and hasnt been updated in quiet a while. The place is only open from 9 to 2. That is it.

My husband does volunteer work here, he enjoys the environment and says the animals are well taken care of. Ive met the manager Tiffany. she seems professional and friendly.

I took a dog there that I picked up from the middle of a busy road. They were very kind and helpful, they texted me pictures of her so I could post them on a local Facebook page and we found the dogs owner quickly.
