This place, truly works with your dogs and accepts any dog, no matter the size, any disability, age, energy level.. I have a 10 month old puppy I have been wanting to get into daycare however he’s just wicked crazy. hoping it would tire him out. And behold! we have found the best doggy daycare! This place works with your dogs! Gives them time outs if needed, and trains them how to get along with other dogs. My dog is my baby. and I never worried once all day wondering how he was doing, I knew he was in good hands. The staff is super informative. The place is super clean and they truly stay on top of everything. The dog trainer Sadhana truly gave me so much education and reassurance once I came and picked up my dog. First time boarding my dog in Connecticut. Absolutely traumatizing experience for my dog, which was wonderful being halfway across the country. Paid for a report card never got one, and when I got one (after calling) it didn’t even look like my dog from how traumatized she was. Never updated me until I called with concern that they sent me A picture of the wrong dog. She was in a back corner, rusty wall, and traumatized. She was so traumatized she didn’t eat or drink anything for a whole week, with diarrhea. After picking her up, she had about an inch of flesh ripped off of her nose and when I called concerned about it, all they could say was it must’ve just happened and we never noticed it…. We have brought our dog, Hades, to various "doggy hotels" over the years and Gagnon's is the best by a mile. When we walk in the kennel staff recognize my dog and he sure recognizes them!! He gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. Our dog is very dog selective so we don't do daycare, but when we board him the staff always make sure he gets plenty of love and playtime as a solo dog! He comes home tired, but still acting like himself. The day of or after his stay we get a report card on his behavior from the staff. My family has been going to John Gagnon's for years for daycare and they have always taken the best care of our family dog during the day. If our dog was more social, we would 100% send him to daycare. For now, we will stick to trusting them to take care of our pup wh

My dog loves when we go away and he can board @ Gagnon pet Resort. They treat him like a king (which is exactly how he loves to be treated). All of the staff treat each pet as if they were were their own. I highly recommend Gagnon Pet Resort in Colchester. CT.

Our dogs LOVE Gagnon's! We go to drop them off and they're like - see ya! don't rush back. Its great to have a place that they love.
