I cannot recommend Furry Friends Veterinary Clinic enough. After visiting five different vets who couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my little dachshund, Buster Brown, I was left with only invasive options that would’ve cost over $6,000 — with no real guarantee of answers. That all changed when we met Dr. Volkers. She listened — truly listened — to every detail, did her own research, and collaborated with me to explore holistic interventions. Together, we found a path that didn’t just feel like a shot in the dark — it felt right, thoughtful, and full of compassion. Every single person on their team goes above and beyond, but I have to give a special thanks to Nicole, who cared for Buster like he was her own. I needed to find a new vet after my former veterinarian was bought out by a large corporation, and I’m so glad I chose Furry Friends. The facilities are clean and modern, and every visit I’ve been taken straight back to a room, which makes a huge difference when you have a stressed-out kitty. The staff is consistently friendly, professional, and kind. My cat needed fairly extensive dental work that I was initially hesitant about, but Nicole took a lot of time to walk me through the procedure and reassure me. Everything went smoothly, and I received email updates and photos the day of surgery, which I really appreciated. My little guy is doing so much better now. If there were Oscars for canine drama, my dog would’ve swept the awards — but thankfully, Dr. Mary and Nikki were there to remind us this was less Grey’s Anatomy and more Overly Dramatic French Bulldog Diva: The Musical. We rushed in convinced my pup was on the brink of disaster (cue the slow sad violin music), but within minutes, Dr. Mary had calmly diagnosed the situation as… pure theatrics with a minor cut and infection between her paws. The entire team handled my melodramatic fur baby with patience, humor, and genuine care while also keeping me (a very concerned stage mom) calm and laughing. By the time we left, my dog was wagging happily, soaking up sympathy treats, and probably planning her next performance. 10/10 would recommend — especially if your pet has a flair for the dramatic!

We have had such a great experience with Furry Friends Veterinary clinic. We have a large breed puppy and they have been there for us every step of the way. They are not quick to rack up unnecessary bills, in fact at every turn they have saved us money when they can. Our puppy Caine had to have surgery at 7 months old for shoulder dysplasia and the xrays they took were so good that the Specialty vet we took him to didn't have to charge us for more. More than that they used the remaining xrays to check his other joints to confirm it was not a hereditary issue. We feel so lucky we found them. We would recommend them to anyone!

Was looking for a vet to euthanize my elderly cat, my usual vet was not in the office. Called Furry Friends and not only did they see us that day they made us feel like we’d been clients/patients for yrs, so caring and compassionate. They made sure that my girl was taken care of and put to sleep with dignity. I will be changing vet offices and start bringing my pets here. Thank you again Dr Maedel for taking on a new patient on such short notice and making sure Gabby was sent over the rainbow bridge peacefully.
