Frisky's Wildlife & Primate Sanctuary

Thank you to Frisky's for being here, sharing your mission, compassion, skills and knowledge. This property is welcoming and in pristine condition! BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY! When helping wildlife, you arrive and you are met with gratitude and kindness for helping one of nature's creatures. We should all do the right thing and help all animals in need. Your actions are a sign of your being. There is no need to leave an animal to suffer, deal with predators, pain and helpless because we have Frisky's! This nonprofit facility (survives only on private donations) is here to help with care, assessment, rehabilitation and hospice of wildlife (if needed). This place means a lot to me and my heart. There is truly no better place for wildlife in need of a little help!! Anybody who has has the pleasure of speaking with Colleen, the founder of Frisky's, knows just how knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated she is to preserving our local wildlife and providing a gentle helping hand to creatures in need. No review I write will really do any justice to the work they're doing here. Every time I thank Colleen for her help she tells me that the most important part of what she does is all of the people who bring these critters in to give them a second chance at life because without both sides of the equation there would be no wildlife for them to nurse. Colleen was wonderful! I had 3 catbird nestlings in a nest. The nest had been displaced and, after several hours, the parents were nowhere to be seen. Colleen said she could care for them and assured us that the little guys would be flying off on their own in 3-4 weeks. ❤️

Found a sweet injured baby opossum in my back yard. Searched the internet and decided to take him to Friskies. Colleen was so friendly and welcoming, and was happy to take the little guy and nurse him back to health. I left happy and felt at peace knowing the little guy was in good hands. Thank you for all you do! You are such a blessing to all of these injured animals ❤️

The owner is friendly with a good sense of humor. I delivered three baby squirrels and she immediately welcomed them to her door. I wasn't allowed to see exactly where they would be placed. I didn't see any animals or where they are. If I had seen the facilities, some of the animals and the care, I would give it 5 ⭐️. I can't give an accurate review without seeing the facilities. I give them 4 stars because they stay open until 8pm. And this is very rare in the world of animal rescue. But I ask anyone who reads this review to make a donation. Because people who rescue injured wild animals work hard and use their own money to feed the animals. Most of these people live on Social Security retirement money, which isn't much.
