Friends of Homeless Animals

I have been volunteering with FOHA first when I was 15 - fast forward I am 30 now and have adopted my first FOHA dog - :) she is amazing and I can’t say enough great things about FOHA. they truly care about the wellbeing of their animals, and take amazing measures to make sure these dogs are taken care of. They will support you - even after adoption. I think it’s rare to come across an organization like this. Thank you FOHA for my girl Marble 💜 she is finally learning to trust again.

I loved my experience here. We adopted 2 kittens and FOHA helped us feel reassured with every step. They provided medicine because our kittens were still getting over URI, had a vet on site to talk to and everyone really cared about all their animals there. Best adoption experience. I would come back but now we have a full house. Thank you guys! Kittens are good!

Just visited and wanted to learn more about fostering or volunteering with cats specifically (my kids have been bugging me for a pet for years but we aren’t ready to adopt). All my questions were answered and we spent a good hour or more petting and meeting cats! All the cats we met were so sweet. You can tell the team at FOHA really care for the animals here and it was nice to see. Everyone was kind and patient with us and so friendly! Thank you Kaitlyn and everyone at FOHA! Just heads up the road to enter FOHA had a lot of pot holes so go slow and be careful other than that amazing experience!

FOHA was an amazing place to get our first dog! We came in without an appointment just to get a feel for what kind of dog we would be interested in. Alison asked us some questions and introduced us to Lucille- it was love at first sight! She is the perfect fit for us and our living situation. FOHA was extremely accommodating in allowing us to pick her up when we returned from a trip out of state (and visiting her regularly in the meantime). We were going to pick her up after our flight home, and it ended up being delayed quite a few hours. FOHA is doing amazing work and we are so grateful to have Jake in our lives. We fostered Jake last January and fell in love with him. We have since Adopted Jake he brings us so much joy and laughter. Jake is the sweetest dog I have ever known. Thank You FOHA for giving him a second chance.
