Friends of Coos County Animals

Lady was rude and nasty to my daughter. She had been helping a sick elderly cat, spent money, vet visits, ans gave cat good care. She went to get help to put cat down and they were very rude to her. Again no good deed goes unpunished in coos county. Sad

After we fostered and bonded with a wonderful, energetic puppy, we spent a month, hundreds of dollars on garb, safety equipment and nutritian took him to the Vet twice and gave him the most loving home Imaginable. I then had a serious medical event and was hospitalized for a week during which my partner elected to primarily stay home with the little pup to assure he was properly cared for. During my time in recovery, FOCCA suddenly, without warning stole him from her leaving her distraught and myself 200 miles away in the hospital unable to intervene which left us both sick with loss. They were not professional about it, they did not allow us a review, were not willing to talk to me, just whisked him away and would not respond to our appeal. Needed emergency help with not putting my dog down, never even attempted to call me to let me know that they couldn't take him, I had to call and do it myself. Shameful that my dog is bleeding internally but never thought to call and share that info.

These folks are simply amazing! I just wanted to look at the kitties one day while I was at Po Vil (pony village needs to replace some lights) and I absolutely fell in love with a little kitten. She was never posted on their fb, and I don't believe they had ever had her in public before. After running it by my boyfriend and landlord, I filled out the application (very thorough and I appreciate that) and had the confirmation and pick up time within 48 hours 😺 Purmoine is completely a-torti-ble and I cant sing enough praises about this organization 😺😻

Adopt from FOCCAS! All of the volunteers and fosters do an amazing job caring for all of the animals. What a group of loving individuals. Thank you for doing what you do!
