Been bringing my dog for over 5 years. Dr. Bohdan Rudawski, is an outstanding vet and surgeon. He operated on my dog twice; once for CCL (ACL) resulting in complete perfect recovery. He truly cares not only for animals but their owners as well; with his straightforward, honest, diagnosis and great integrity in not overcharging or running needless tests as many vets do to up charge. In having several vets over 30 years time, Dr. Rudawski is simply the best. Extremely knowledgeable and a kind and ethical person!! It’s a walk-in setting with no pre scheduled appointments so the wait times can be hours long, however you will not get better care at a better price than here. So come prepared with your animal. Given the setting, my only suggestion would be having a ticket disbursement system (

Fox Lake Animal Hospital is absolutely wonderful. Dr. Boghan is the best in the business, knowledgeable, compassionate and an excellent surgeon. I have tremendous trust and faith in him. He took care of my black lab who needed ACL surgery and knee cap repair. He only charged my 595.00. That included meds after surgery. He removed her cancer 4 years ago and she lived to be 16 years old. He charged 350 for the surgery. My cat ate a piece of dental floss. He removed it and she stayed for 2 days for observation 250.00. No one cares for animals like this man. His staff are also wonderful and he has a great team of doctors.

We LOVE the surgeon there! We have a 3 year old, 115 pound Rottie that had a complete tear of his CCL (ACL in humans). The dr explained the surgery and what to expect afyer the surgery VERY well to us and our boy is healing up perfectly!! He is actually doing quite AMAZING!! The stutch removal was quick and you can barely see the scar! Nice job, doc!!

It is always fantastic service, great staff and great doctors: very knowledgeable and professional. Know veterinary medicine and have great eye for diagnosis. Prices are very affordable and convenience to be seen the same day is worth tra el and waiting.

Dr. Courtney and staff were phenomenal from beginning to end. He was very thorough ,attentive , patient and kind explaining what could be wrong with my baby. He took his time explaining all possible outcomes and not once made me feel like I needed to hurry up and leave. Definitely will continue to bring my baby’s here. The wait is long but so worth it in the long run for the amazing care and attentiveness you receive.
