We’ve used this pet sitting business before and had a great experience with one of our dogs last year—even receiving an unexpected grooming, which was a nice touch. Based on that positive visit, we decided to bring all three of our dogs this time for a 5-day stay (plus one hour past opening time on the final day). Unfortunately, the experience this time was very different, and as pet owners, we can’t ignore what we saw when picking them up. Our husky came back with a large, raised bruise across his nose. He was completely healthy when dropped off, but now he flinches at touch and reacts nervously to sudden movements—something he has never done before. He also smells terrible, as do the other two dogs, which suggests they weren't cleaned or well cared for. While we understand smells can ha
Great place for your pet when you vacation and can't bring them along. Also they do a super job grooming my fur baby.
My parents took their 15 year old shih tzu here for grooming after moving from Chicago and they always took the best care of Lucy. I had to deploy for the military and my parents took my 1 year old dog while I was deployed and Four Paws was beyond accommodating taking Ted for daycare when my parents had to have long days at work. Ted can’t wait to visit them this summer and get an amazing grooming!
Kristen and Chris are the absolute BEST! Small town folks with small town added touches. They will work with you if you need an after hours pick up. The boys LOVE them and are totally comfortable staying for boarding. Charlie was a past court case seizure that I fostered when he was 1. After earning his trust after the abuse and neglect, I couldn’t rehome him. He stole my heart and fit in with the rest of our zoo so he stayed and became a big part of our family. This is important because even though he’s friendly with everyone, certain environments will make him shake, he won’t eat and will cower in the corner even with his brother Buddy with him. He doesn’t do this with Kristen and Chris. He’s a happy, outgoing pup in their care. That’s SUPER IMPORTANT when it comes to my 2 doggo furkids.
I have boarded my dogs and cat here multiple times. I’m very pleased with the level of care. My dogs will jump out the car and run inside the office, I think they like it too. Also the groomer keeps my pups looking great!
