They are absolutely amazing. I went there on a friends suggestion for my 10 year old labs hip for possible PRP injections. They took x rays and said he doesn't need them that the hips are fine that it was his back that was to issue. Dr Trausz also found he had lungs and worked with me on getting the proper medication to help that out. They genuinely seem to care and love all their animals they see. Dr Trausz would also call and follow up to see how my dog is doing since we lived several hours away and also provided me insight and a knowledgeable 2nd onion from my vet up in Rochester. I trust them with everything!!

Poor service, inflated cost, and bad patient care. If I could give zero stars I would. Procedure: minor surgery to remove debris from paw. Receptionist was extremely rude, dismissive and openly annoyed by doing her job. They spitefully increased my bill by about 80% ($900 instead of $500) when I declined the overnight stay and insisted on picking my dog up before 6pm. The new vet had to remove more debris two days later that Allen Tausz left in her paw.

Best vet ever. Very compassionate with animals and by far the most affordable i’ve found anywhere near Ithaca. Dr Taus’s wife and and his helper Chip are also both wonderful and have brought so much comfort to our animals and us over many years. would never take my precious kitties anywhere else as long as he and we are here. I’ve lived all over the country and have had pets, all rescues, everywhere i’ve been. Dr Tausz is the best vet of all. I’ve lost count of how many times he has save my older cat Bobbie Dylan, my best friend in the world. My animals love him. My cat Bobbie sees him and his staff as family and she trusts them. Having two senior dogs - we are so thankful to have Fountain House just down the street. Dr. Tausz is kind, knowledgeable and straight forward. His amazing wife and staff have lovingly cared for our boys in emergencies, surgeries and regular check-ups. Wonderful people you can feel at ease knowing your four legged family members is getting fabulous care.
