Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital at Flourtown

We adopted a rescue from Mississippi who was suffering from either anal gland problems or something unknown to us. We couldn't get in to see our regular vet, and I had to look elsewhere. It was only a couple of days, but it was constant pain and irritation for our new Pup. She had been through too much trauma in her short life, and we could not bear to see her in agony. As soon as I contacted Fort Washington Vet Hospital and explained the situation, they were able to get her in within an hour. She was about to have an abscess. They were so kind and thorough, I could not have been more pleased. Thank you to the team at Fort Washington Vet Hospital at Flourtown.

Can’t say enough great things about this practice! We have a French bulldog with frequent health issues, every time we call the front desk, staff is extremely accommodating and kind, along with the vet techs and veterinarians. We are grateful to belong here and thank you for your help.

I switched to this Vet group about 6 months ago and have been thrilled with my interactions with their front desk, vet assistants and Doctors. I have used the traditional Vets and had acupuncture for my 11 year old. The team and doctors in Flourtown and Fort Washington are both excellent! Everyone is very helpful, super nice , and genuinely seems to want to be there...and they certainly love the fur babies, there is no hiding that! Highly recommend!

Our first puppy. The whole experience was great for him and us. We learned a lot, I love how easy medicine is to pick up. Everyone was fabulous!

We see Dr. Nelson for our two chihuahua mixes- she is amazing!! It's always so stressful taking the dogs to the vet- they try to escape, hide under chairs, etc. Dr. Nelson knows how to calm the situation, and her expertise is second to none. She always explains what's going on with my dogs' health issues in layman terms (and they have several- they are senior dogs). We actually followed Dr. Nelson from her previous job in Center City because there are few other vets that we would trust with our pups' care. Long drive is worth it- highly recommend!
