I feel like fort wainwright vet doesn’t get enough credit, Valerie Warmuth & her team are absolutely amazing… words can’t describe it. When i didn’t know what was going on with my Loui they got us in next day for appointments, got us in for test, ect. They were extremely caring and helpful when it came to my Loui. Thank you all for the love you have shown Loui, thank you for being so helpful in difficult times🖤. I will continue to use them for our cat and new pup.

Dr. Warmuth was so kind, knowledgeable, and professional!!! Her care for Winston was as if he was her own. The staff is excellent!!! Very pleased with my visit, they went above and beyond with their service. When I first got here 3 years ago, no one answered my calls at all times of the day. If I had to guess, they must have become better staffed within the last 1-2 years. For some reason I can't find them on Ice to give them a positive comment. They may be inappropriately overlooked on certain systems on Fort Wainwright. I didn't know where they were these last 3 years until I pursued them before PCS. The building is tucked away off Oak ave., west of the new childcare center. Please be considerate and kind to them and I am sure you will receive the same.

We contacted the VTF today to schedule an appointment for our dog to get checked out. After explaining her symptoms, they urged us to bring our dog in ASAP and not wait until next week. They fit us into their schedule on a Friday afternoon so she could be seen immediately. Our dog ended up having a potentially fatal diagnosis that required immediate surgery. They performed the surgery and saved our dog’s life today. She likely wouldn’t have lasted the weekend. The cost was significantly more affordable than any vet off-post. Thank you to the incredible personnel at the VTF who treated our family with such compassion and a sense of urgency. This is a wonderful service for us military families and we are so thankful for them today!

I have been going here for about two years and never had a bad experience! They are the most friendly and helpful staff. The staff always get back to me within a short period of time and are so professional. Pricing is very affordable and never any hidden costs or fees. I can not say enough how kind and upbeat the staff is. And shoutout to ms Claire for being so awesome and helpful! 5/5 for real I will always recommend taking your pets here 🤩
