Fort Smith Animal Emergency

I just didn’t have a good experience with this place in any way. My dog was in bad condition on arrival. She was older, so this didn’t help her situation and unfortunately I lost her earlier this month. During euthanasia, the staff would not allow me to be present. I insisted, but they refused to allow me to be in the room. Of all the dogs I’ve ever had in my life, never have I been told I could not be there for them. This was very insensitive, but I couldn’t argue any longer while my dog was in so much pain. Today is now 23 days later. I finally decided to go and find out why I haven’t received my dogs ashes back. They handed me a form to sign for pickup and on it says they contacted me on the 5th. They did not call. They did not text. They had two numbers on file and neither were attempt

My dog was shot this morning, drove from Sallisaw to bring her to this emergency clinic. Nope no answers of the phone, no one available. My baby girl was suffering from a leg wound and belly wound, all the time we spent trying to get her to be seen was absolutely exhausting. She was suffering, had to call the police to have the animal control euthanize her due to her suffering.

Our Great Pyrenees mix had an unknown accident yesterday. She couldn't walk, had minor abrasions on the right rear leg and was lethargic. We live half way between emergency clinics in Fort Smith and Shreveport. I called the Shreveport clinic and the person answering the phone would not give me any guidance so I called the First Smith clinic. He woman asvised me not to give Gretel Ibuprophin or Tylenol, and to keep her immobilized. So we drove to Fort Smith today. These ladies were so helpful. Vet was very professional and explained all our options.

I adopted an older dog while stationed away from home to keep me company. I eventually brought her home to Arkansas due to my frequent travels so that my family can look after Love. During my visit home, Love was exhibiting multiple symptoms and eventually she was struggling to use her back legs. Scared me and took her straight to the emergency clinic. I’m so thankful that Dr. Steph Miller recognized that Love had protein-losing enteropathy. Thanks to her diagnosing her quickly she was able to be treated right away and now Love is continuing her care with our local animal clinic. Thank you so much. Came back to add that I appreciate the follow-up call.

I don't like them taking him in the back with out me. But they where there and help l ed him and the lady was up front was really nice for 4.30 a.m. in the morning. Never got to see the vet. It would have been nice to meet them. But they help my wyatt, that's what counts. I seem they had some really bad reviews. But I guess it's just hit and miss. Hes at home and doing ok. So far, I hadn't had to take into our regular bet, but I will if I need to
