What a wonderful experience! from the moment you step foot through the door, we were welcomed with the friendliest staff. Dr. Hopson and her vet tech were both wonderful, both were very caring and listened to all of our concerns! I am so very satisfied that we decided to have them take care of our fur babies! Such caring, compassionate folks, from check in to check out. I highly recommend anyone in the area to trust your babies to Fort Plain Animal Hospital!

Almost all Wagon Drop Town Vets must be rich, refused to see my sick dog. Both in Fulton and Montgomery Counties. 2 Offices said Doctor did not come in yet even at 10:30am, most said appointment only 2 weeks out, other said go to Latham, another 2 said too many surgeries today and asked 25 questions only to say no, one wanted exorbitant amount prepaid before I even arrived and another 2 didnt answer phone calls even after repeated attempts to emergency line. Called Fort Plain Animal Hospital. Staff asked few questions and said come in at 2:45pm. Arrived filled out 1 sheet of paper that took 1 minute to fill out. Receptionist, tech, lab staff on the money. Couple minutes I am in with Dr. Chen. Asked few questions physically examined the dog. Ran some blood test, positive for Lyme. Gave me

All the nurses are great with doctors they treat. Take good care of you and treat you nice. They explain everything to you. What you're supposed to do. Can't find a better vet place. Is this place is you're awesome?

If you plan on going here make sure you're ready to pay 2-3 times the average, and don't bother trying to get a estimate over the phone. My wife brought her cat for what was estimated at $119. After the appointment they charged her $230. I understand maybe a $20-$30 discrepancy but a $110 upcharge because they can. Now puts us in financial trouble. I strongly suggest going literally anywhere else.
