Dr. Gonzalez was our vet for many years and treated our pets with live and care, we originally chose Him because we knew in the future we were moving to Japan and asked every vet of they can do the paperwork and none of the vets we called from west palm to homestead had any idea of what we were talking about or just out right refused because they said it was too complicated, when we called Fort Lauderdale veterinary center they knew exactly what we were talking about and confidently said they can handle it. The added bonus was they were a great, friendly and knowledgeable facility and all our visits were handled better than anyplace we been to prior. On behalf of Island Paws Rescue: Since May 2023 we have chosen FLVC any time our fosters are in Fort Lauderdale. From puppies to rescued street dogs, from routine care to intensive treatment, every pup has received quality care, and every foster parent has reported pleasant experiences. Dr. Jose Javier Gonzalez (License # VM9470) retaliated against my one-star review by publicly posting my private client information, including my full name, phone number, and home address. This was clearly done as a fear tactic to intimidate me into removing my honest review. I later discovered he has done this to multiple other clients as well. Dr. Gonzalez and his team always make me feel like my dog is in the best hands. The technicians are attentive, remember us, and it’s a pleasant experience for not only me- but my dog as well. They care, take pride in their work, and it shows.
