Foothill Equine - Drs. Peralez, Brown, and Bennett

I've been fortunate enough not to call on Dr. Peralez very often over the years, but last year my 26 year old gelding took a turn for the worse. Dr. P was attentive, patient (with both me and my gelding!), and judicious in the care he recommended. I deeply appreciate his "common sense" approach to things, and his ability to clearly communicate whether an intervention is worth the potential risks or limited success it may bring. His quick action helped keep an emergency situation from turning into a devastating one, and my sweet Barney is still here today because of him. Torrie at the front desk is an absolute gem and she makes every effort to take great care of us, especially during times of distress. I cannot thank this practice enough!

I have used primarily Dr. Brown, but a friend told me Dr. Jones is great and has experience with Thoroughbreds, so we decided to try her. Dr. Jones has great patient care, she is friendly, she is informative, on time, patient around children (my 4 year old was bouncing off the walls lol) and great with horses and their overall care! Highly recommend this practice! The vets here are wonderful and very kind. Thanks so much again!

Drs Brown and Peralez have been caring for our horses for 25+ years and are an integral part of keeping our horses happy, healthy and sound. They are both exceptional doctors, with an abundance of patience and kindness. This practice continues to impress me each individually and as a group. Our large barn has been using their services for years and as a newish member I have had to call on them for more urgent matters. Dr. Wheat came out to see a horse I take care of for a swollen eye. What a lovely, lovely man. Explained everything, looked him over for me and did a small check up while he was there. I was very impressed and just couldn’t believe what a nice man he is. One can see he loves his job and said he’d been doing it for 40 years with no retirement in sight.
