FDR is awesome. If you are looking to rescue a dog, reach out to them. With their large cadre of foster parents, chances are your puppy partner is waiting for you to submit a request. I found my little guy in less than 2 weeks, a sweet Brazilian Terrier that they found in an over flowing shelter. Pablo and I are very grateful to Eileen at FDR for putting us together.

I think what these guys are doing is truly amazing. They offer a great value to our community and most importantly to these pets. And their new owners. Thank you for what you are doing!!!

Absolute WORST experience I've ever had in my entire life when it came to trying to adopt a dog. Extremely unprofessional. When my husband & I thought about adopting a third pup into the family, we reached out to a local organization. I used to volunteer for other shelters, so I'm familiar how processes work. I reached out to FDR & thought one pup could really work for our family. Both of my current dogs breeds, ages, trainings, references, were in our application. I was asked to send videos of them playing so that they can see their play style. One of my dogs is 1.5 yrs. One is 8 months. This was all disclosed, as well as my youngest is very vocal and clumsy, but very sweet. We set up a "meet & greet," - the main person - Jacky, said they would not work out because of my young ones' age.

I adopted a perfect Boston Terrier. The process was easier than expected. Everyone there was so nice and informative. My family is complete now.

Rating is specifically foe the Paw on the Block adoption program. Be prepared to be let down. The adoption is not guaranteed and they'll tell you it's what's best for the dog. We'll Tha k God they turned us away and chose another family. We went back to good old front street shelter and adopted a new baby for free. They want $300 here which I was fine with but. They poach their dogs from El Do AS. They already knew about others I had seen there because they wanted them too. I had been talking to one of the gals for a week about 2 dogs and let her know we were very interested in 1 of them. We couldn't make it as a whole family the day the requested but felt pressured to come anyways because they were teto g to get all the meets in that day. Basically, we show up and then after seeing an hou
