We’ve had a great experience training with John. The owner is incredibly attentive and really focuses on what you and your dog actually need. It’s obvious he knows a lot about what he does, and he explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. We’ve only had two sessions so far, and our worries about our dog have already gone down a lot. We leave each session feeling more confident and with clear, practical tips to work on. I have 2 dogs that needed obedience training. I learned quickly that I had to change my own behavior and the tools I was using. John was great to work with and I know I still need to keep working at it. I am very happy with the quick results already seen. I plan to do a few more lessons so that I stay on track. Cooper is a rescue pup, approximately 5 mos old, found on a roadside in NC. When I got him he was very skiddish and affraid of everyone except me. He’d cower, back away, bark and growl. Could’ve been mistaken for aggression. We signed up for 4 week training classes with John. I appreciated John’s straight forward training style along with his clear direction for both myself and Cooper.
