My husband came in troubled about his carpeting project and I think the man there named Killian helped him and by the time he got home he was much less stressed. Even excited. I know normally you leave reviews for installation but my husband said he hadn't had a friendly and funny conversation about business in a long time. Thought I'd put it out there. Thank you Killian! UPDATING to add: I did get a call from the company after posting this (same day!) with an assurance that the situation would be rectified. They truly seemed concerned about the poor experience we were having. They said someone would be out Monday (today) to finish the things I was promised and lo and behold an installer came today and took care of everything. Upgrading my rating to four stars for the company’s great -and rapid- response to what has been a poor experience due to one individual. Profoundly unhappy with our experience with this company. We ordered carpet for the stairs and our bedroom. We also hired them to install shoe in the basement, put in a transition strip at the patio door and caulk around the fireplace. I invested a premium amount for flooring throughout my home, but unfortunately, the installation process resulted in scratches on the floor. Upon notifying Flooring Expo, they suggested using an "Almond stick" to address the scratches and advised me to check my local Walmart for the product. However, I was uncomfortable with this solution, and they agreed to send a technician to my home to try the Almond stick instead. This attempt was unsuccessful, leading to a second visit where they attempted to replace the damaged area with leftover flooring from the initial installation, but there was insufficient material. Great carpet buying experience! We were happy from walking in the door initially to take a look, all the way through walking into our bedroom for the 1st time after install. The two installers we had were incredibly attentive, respectful and professional. They both deserve a raise! We highly recommend Flooring Expo vs a big box store 100%.
