Five Mile Pet Clinic

I took my dog here several times over the past couple years and have always found them to be knowledgeable and compassionate. Their prices seemed comparable to other clinics in the area and making an appointment was easy. This week, I made the difficult decision to euthanize my senior dog and the staff was extremely caring from beginning to end. The doctor's kind words during the procedure continue to mean a lot to me.

Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend. We have only been there one time and it was warm ,kind and they make you feel like family. Exceptional care for you and your furbabies. Danielle Meyer's was our doctor and she was so caring and informative. Talked to you like a human being. The rest of the staff we met we Absolutely amazing. If you live on the north side of spokane please consider them,even if you dont they are worth the drive

I took my dog to Five Mile Vet Clinic for a cyst on her tail. After it was accidentally nicked at the groomer, she started chewing on it, so the vet recommended tail docking. We were given antibiotics and scheduled surgery for December 2024. Getting an estimate was difficult—I had to follow up multiple times. When I finally received it, the estimated cost ranged from $767.94 to $933.23. By surgery day, the estimate had increased to $962–$1,130 with no clear explanation. After surgery, the final bill was $873.91, but the procedure description had changed from "Tail Dock" ($214.50) to "Tail Amputation" ($363.60).
