We purchased a chessie in 2016 when Craig started taking on the kennel/dog training business on his own! So far..our chessie...named Sam has done extremely well..hunts and retrieves until it's time to be done...he will turn off the switch when we are done hunting...soft disposition when around kids and other dogs! He's a lover..not a fighter! Probably one of the most soft mouthed retrievers I have even owned! I have trained multiple breeds of dogs for 30 years in competition... hunting and police work..and Craig has had quality dogs! U won't be disappointed! But hopefully those that purchase the dog/pup understands the breed that they are purchasing!

Our lab Skye spent 2 months there and she seemed to love it! She learned many new things, my favorite being no leash pulling when we walk! Craig was super helpful on how to keep practicing drills once we got home. Craig is easy to get a hold of and talk to. Cost wise we felt they were very affordable compared to other trainers and they did a fabulous job. We could tell Skye loved and enjoyed being with the trainers. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely go back in the future.

I've been lucky to have purchased 3 started dog's from Craig at Fischer’s Kennels and they have been great. Craig and team also do a great job tuning them up preseason. As a waterfowl hunting guide, we need solid work dogs and liveable pets in the off season. Very happy. PS. You won't find cleaner kennels or better training grounds anywhere!!

Craig is a all around great choice for anything hunting dog related. Absolutely a great guy but not only that he is extremely talented at training dogs and keeping the client involved in the process when needed.
