First State Animal Center and SPCA

I always go to the clinic next door and they are great. I have a VERY small dog! And they take such great care of her. She's usually a little sus about vets. But she loves when the ladies come and get her. I recently had to get her teeth removed bc she's old and they did a great job! The ladies up front were VERY clear on the aftercare and the specifics of the meds. I will always pick this place to take my animals.

Been taking care of my critically sick kitty, and he is improving! Dr. Pyle is awesome doctor! His nurses are wonderful as are ladies at front desk. Wonderful to find people who work with their patients with determination to make them well and comfortable.

UPDATE - AS OF DEC 26 2024, BOTH CATS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED! ==================≈====== We've adopted cats from them several times. They screen all prospective adopters to make sure their pets will placed in good homes. Pictures are of Dancer and Devon who are available for adoption right now. We originally adopted them but our senior cat was always fighting with them. They are both caring and lovable sister cats who love to play and show their affection. We were heart broken when we had to return them. Please stop by and take a look at these adorable and loving siblings.

Everyone is always so friendly and so good with my girl. She is so scared when she goes in for her check up but the staff and Dr Brown are always so good with her. I wouldn't take her anywhere else.

Boarding ends at 4 PM on Saturdays, however the facility is closed on Sundays and Mondays. This may be difficult for pet parents who travel out of State. A 6 PM close on Saturdays as all the others would be more conducive to limiting costs and pet separation. Otherwise, have open Sunday hours until 2 PM.
