Family Vet of Lake St. Louis

My Shih Tzu has chronic GI issues and sensitivity, requiring him to have a specific prescription diet. Unfortunately I was informed by Hill’s that his food order was canceled due to supply issues and we only have 3 cans remaining. A quick call to the office resulted in a plan for a substitute food, which wasn’t a simple process but was handled sooo well. I couldn’t be more pleased with how this veterinarian’s office has consistently helped us with my dog’s condition. They are fantastic and I highly recommend them.

Incredibly sad and disappointed. I have taken my cat here several times and have good experiences. However, I cannot and will not say the same for my past 2 visits. I brought my cat in for an ear problem in which I was told to give him ear drops and a cleaner for 2 weeks. When I came back for a check up, he still had an ear infection. The tech that day told me I was supposed to have given him the cleaner more than what I was told originally. I also mentioned in the first visit with Dr.Burroughs I was concerned with his weight. She stated no concerns. Again on the follow up, I expressed concerns again about his weight and that he has been hiding and not eating his food as much. Keep in mind , Dr. Burroughs told me she would see him again on the follow up and did not. It was only the vet tec

My new puppy, Holly, and I were treated like family from the minute we walked in. Everyone we met was very kind and fully invested in providing the perfect care for Holly. I am happy and relieved I was referred to them by a friend.

I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else. They were absolutely amazing with my mom's 18 year old pomeranian. He had to cross the rainbow bridge. He's home now. You can either bring you baby home or have him or her buried in a wildflower pet cemetery you can go visit. They love & care about animals more than anyone I know! Pricing is amazing as well but in this case I would pay twice as much for the care you get there.

Family Vet has been the best place for my pups over the years. They treat us with kindness and patience every visit. We recently had a short notice visit due to our oldest dog becoming acutely ill overnight. They got us in, answered concerns and questions promptly, and sent us to the appropriate specialist in a span of an hour. We could not be more thankful for their care. They helped save my oldest dog life🩷🥺
